SUMMARY:
This job is for those with little to no Quality Assurance experience. The apprentice will perform QA duties for
no less than 3000 work hours with no less than 30% of those spent on field. Work hours shall be spent to
involve at a minimum on welding/brazing, painting, and mechanical QA duties. Daily reports to be filled out
and submitted to QA Managers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Knowledgeable in metrology and instrumentation.

Ensure welding and brazing procedures and worker qualifications are up to date.

Ensure that all welding and brazing personnel are properly trained and certified.

Performs and prepare reports of inspection results and maintain records of inspections.

Able to complete required reporting to Management, as well as to Government or Commercial

Must have excellent written and communication skills, as well as computer working skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.

The individual must have a working knowledge of portable document format software in regards to simple file conversion, file securement and signatures, such as Adobe PDF.

Must be able to manage people with the ability to handle stress and employee relations.

REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of
welding process and techniques. Familiar with quality control procedures and safety regulations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The
employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration. The employee is occasionally
exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.​
